Farmers of Kherson region showed interest in Belarusian tractors and fertilizers

This is precisely what Vladimir Saldo's working visit to the fraternal republic of the Union State is aimed at. Addressing the President of Belarus, he expressed gratitude for the assistance and support to his region, drawing attention to the fact that the region has been defined by the Russian Ministry of Economy as a geostrategic territory, including due to its access to two seas.

And although, he specified, a special military operation is still ongoing in the region, nevertheless, "people are actively working – harvesting grain, despite the fact that the enemy is trying to interfere with the peace process." "But still, peaceful life – its shoots are breaking through," the governor noted.

He does not feel like a guest on the hospitable Belarusian land: "I came, basically, to see my friends," Saldo said. "And you are not a guest. This is your land, just as Ukraine and the Kherson region are also my land," Lukashenko noted.

By the way, the governor later told journalists in detail about the region’s interest in Belarusian fertilizers and tractors following his dialogue with the head of the republic, BELTA reports.

The fact is, he explained, that the agricultural region is experiencing a shortage of agricultural machinery, most of which was previously supplied from Western countries. And now it is necessary to restore cooperation with Belarusian enterprises. In addition, Saldo also drew attention to local potash fertilizers, which farmers need. "This is what Belarus can provide the Kherson region with," he specified.

According to him, there is probably no settlement or village in the Kherson region where they would not know what a Belarus tractor is. In this regard, it was said that the creation of a technology park is already being planned in the region. "It is on its territory that the possibility of placing technical service centers for Belarusian equipment is being discussed," the governor summed up.
