A Primorye resident will be tried for damaging his home while repairing a water heater.

Rossiyskaya Gazeta previously reported that in May 2025, a titanium water heater exploded in an apartment building on Shifernaya Street. According to investigators, the incident occurred due to improper repairs and subsequent depressurization of the equipment.
The damage to common property as a result of the incident amounted to more than one million rubles.
The Primorsky resident is charged under Article 168 of the Russian Criminal Code (large-scale damage to another's property, committed through careless handling of another source of increased danger). The criminal case will be sent to court for consideration on the merits after a copy of the indictment is served on the defendant.
